FGS: Prosperity. Security. Technology.
About the Summit
We live in a period of unprecedented change touching every sphere of life. Breakthrough technologies, the reconfiguration of the global order, pressure on traditional norms and values, Western demographic decline, and the energy transition create a nexus of challenges that are existential for Poland and Central & Eastern Europe. The Freedom & Growth Summit is Warsaw’s new platform for candid, practical debate among leading figures from politics, academia, business and the security community—joined by key transatlantic partners and stakeholders from strategically important regions.
Our Core Pillars
Built around a triad of economic & technological development, security & resilience, and the rule of law & fundamental freedoms (with freedom of expression at the core), FGS will translate debate into concrete recommendations for growth and the strengthening of free societies across CEE. The summit is structured around three key pillars:
- Economic and technological development.
Competitiveness, innovation, trade, investment and resilient supply chains; dual-use technologies and AI (ethics, standards, security).
- Security and deterrence.
Defence industry, critical infrastructure, and regional reinforcement corridors linking the High North and the Baltics.
- Fundamental rights and freedoms.
Especially freedom of expression and effective counter-disinformation frameworks that protect, not erode, open societies.
Agenda Highlights
The agenda will include sessions such as:
- Security in the Era of the Energy Transition
- Challenges to Freedom of Expression in Central & Eastern Europe
- Migration or death – how to overcome the false alternative
- Sovereignty in a United Europe: A CEE Perspective
